About my practice
About Masha Lisitsa, MFT
I've been a licensed therapist since 2017, and my approach is direct, empathic, and heart-centered. I believe the most important thing I can offer is genuine understanding and authentic presence.
I'm originally from Ukraine and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, so I understand what it's like to straddle multiple worlds. I speak fluent Russian and work with many first-generation immigrants navigating the cultural and generational gaps that can create so much guilt and pressure in family relationships.
My training is in psychodynamic and relational therapy, and I draw from mindfulness-based approaches, narrative therapy, family systems, and attachment theory. I'm trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) for trauma work. I'm currently completing specialized training in maternal mental health through Postpartum Support International. I also provide clinical supervision to graduate students and therapists working toward licensure.
What draws people to work with me is my ability to create a space where you can truly be yourself.

My associates
I supervise two talented therapists-in-training who share my approach and values, as well as the same depth-oriented, relational style of therapy.
I'm a warm, compassionate, and authentic therapist who brings my whole heart to this work. I'm an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT151207), supervised by Masha Lisitsa.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families in private practice. I specialize in grief and loss, relationship struggles, trauma-related symptoms, and helping couples navigate conflict, improve intimacy, and recover from infidelity and betrayal. I utilize a blend of psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based modalities, including EMDR for trauma work.
I'm LGBTQIA+ allied and strive to provide a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds to feel supported and empowered in their healing. I offer in-person sessions in San Francisco and telemedicine throughout California.

Hi, I’m Celine. I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT158752), supervised by Masha Lisitsa. I’m a collaborative and culturally responsive therapist who works with individuals, couples, young adults, and parents who feel like they’re trying to juggle it all.
I have experience working with the perinatal population as well as post-grads and professionals navigating career paths, identity development, relationship challenges, and the emotional shifts that can come with new parenthood or life transitions.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, burned out, stuck in perfectionism, or navigating grief, ADHD, depression, or complex family dynamics. Often, their nervous systems are in a constant state of overdrive and bracing for what’s next. I help you slow down, gain clarity, and feel more grounded in a fast-paced world. Together, we’ll explore patterns that no longer serve you and build practical tools you can use outside the therapy room to support lasting change.
My approach integrates psychodynamic insight and attachment theory, with mindfulness-based and somatic-informed care. I strive to create a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and deeply human, where your body and mind can begin to settle, and you don’t have to hold it all alone.

Beginning therapy is a significant step.
Let’s meet to see if we’re a good fit.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation where we can discuss what you're experiencing, answer your questions, and see if working together feels right. No pressure, no judgment. Just an honest conversation.
